-  * **Bâtard–Montrachet** (Jun. 2020 – ): 1 btl not oxidized. Appropriate color of yellow gold. Reticent nose gives up subtle hints of orchard fruit & white flowers. The vintage's prominent acidity still hasn't properly integrated with the copious amounts of sweet fruit on the palate. Purchased from a reputable West Coast retailer in Apr. 2011.    * **Chassagne–Montrachet "Les Chaumées Clos de la Truffière"** (Feb. 2017 – Sep. 2017): 5 btls not oxidized + 1 btl advanced & unpalatable. The good btls had a green gold color with excellent clarity, showing no signs of ageing. Gently smoky, leesy nose. Surprisingly elegant on the palate with no undue acidity. Got better in the glass. In 2008, this cuvée has exhibited better balance & delivered more pleasure than the "Les Vergers". From a lot of 6 purchased in Apr. 2015 from the auction platform of a reputable West Coast retailer.    * **Chassagne–Montrachet "Les Vergers"** (Mar. 2015 – Jan. 2019): 21 btls not oxidized. Over the years, this wine has only slowly shed its lime cordial character & the ferocious acidity of the 2008 vintage. Some bottles have shown serious elegance of lime flower, toasted brioche, & lightly grilled nuts in the nose. On the palate, there has also been some elegance & occasionally a zesty tingle on entry. All this is a far cry from the butterscotch aromatics & buttery popcorn flavors that this cuvée exhibited in memorable vintages from the 1980's & early 1990's. 9 btls purchased in Apr. 2011 from a reputable West Coast retailer, & a further case purchased in May 2015 from the auction platform of the same.
