  • 1997 (on the bottle) / 1996 (on the cork) - Chassagne La RomanĂ©e - over 4 bottles 3 were oxidized, the remaining being an excellent wine.
  • 2003 Chassagne-Montrachet Caillerets. Premox, but still drinkable. More noticeable day 2 (night is fridge).


  • Chassagne Grandes Ruchottes (22 April 2011): still fresh after nine years, bright acidity, good color, clean cork, absolutely no hint of oxidation. [Stephen Dreher]

1997 Chevalier Montrachet oxidised and totally undrinkable; April 2011.
