  • In vintage 1996: lowered free SO2 use; numerical targets
  • In vintage 2001: began using untreated corks to avoid potential peroxide contamination
  • In vintage 2003 Free SO2 increased from 20ppm to 40ppm
  • In vintage 2008: Free SO2 targets now 40 to 50 ppm
  • In vintage 2009: Montille has switched from natural cork to DIAM (agglomerated cork with a binding material. DIAM claims lower oxygen permeability than natural cork and virtually non-existent TCA);
