This is a spin-off of Colin-Deleger, where Michel Colin divided most of his vineyard holdings between his two sons, Bruno and Phillipe.

  • In vintage 2005: according to Stephen Tanzer, he practices less batonnage than his father (Colin-Deleger) and brother Bruno. Stopped stirring the lees in December 2005. Target free SO2 raised to 40 ppm starting with this vintage. According to Tanzer, the wines are less lush, but more precise.

  • Chevalier Montrachet (May 2011): not oxidised, excellent wine [Stephane Pierrel]
  • Chassagne Montrachet Les Chenevottes (Jan 2012) completely oxidised [Stephen Dreher]
  • St Aubin Les Combes (Dec 2012): no oxidation and really freakin good. [Andrew Rose]
  • Puligny Montrachet Demoiselles (Oct 2012): no sign of oxidiation but very ready to drink now – perhaps too ready. Excellent in any case [MLT]
  • Chevalier–Montrachet (Jan. 2021 – ): 2 btls not oxidized. Needs decanting. Still incredibly primary in the nose & on the palate, with lots of bracing citric mineralité. From a lot of 6 purchased from the auction platform of a reputable West Coast retailer in Jul. 2014. [Rayner Cheung]
